Some illnesses are chronic and deserve attention. Similar to taking drugs for a

long period in time, accutreatment effects can wear off if the patient is not

contributing to the care by stopping the diet or other excercise that would be

helpful. Sometimes a further treatment is warranted.

hello..i am new to the group and new to accupuncture as well. i have

had about 5 weeks of treatment for sever abdominal bloating and

digestion problems (not IBS). it has helped me tremendously but now

it is beginning to stop working and i was wondering if anyone else

has had the experience of accupuncture not working so effectively

after a while and then working again. my accupuncturist says this can

be normal and that i should not panic but i am starting to get

worried. i would appreciate any responses. thanks very much...s

digestion for it to be very effective in the beginning and then not

so effective. thanks again.

Intestine problem is very common problem in clinic. Your symptom belong to

Chinese medicine said imbalance between LIVER and SPLEEN. You know your stomach

movement controlled by your central nervous system, so when you have emotional

problem (belong to Chinese medicine said LIVER Qi stagnation), so the

treatment need to treat your SPLEEN and also need to treat your LIVER.

If your acupuncturist treats your peripheral nervous system your symptoms

will reduce but not completely gown the reason is he/or she didn't treat your

central nervous especially, the treatment need to effect your limbic system.

I think you will getting better after your acupuncturist using the points I

have given to you. If you have any question you could ask online, I thank most

acupuncturist will help you.

Best!
