They are found in Madagascar and, like you, I find them to be breathtakingly beautiful. As an aside and for those interested, though these stone spirits are called Kambaba Jasper they are actually not Jasper at all. They are a silicified Rhyolite. In that way they're similar to Ocean Jasper, which also comes from Madagascar. Because more people are familiar with Jasper than Rhyolite a fair number of Rhyolites are called Jaspers.
