Guest guest
Wish I would of known this a few weeks ago. I had a very stiff neck. I searched the archives and I found head and neck rolls which helped very much. But when I do that my neck sounds like snap, crackle and pop. But I am going to try this as I still have slightly a sore neck. Also on the same side Right I have my heal and my lower back my sciatica. Does any one have any solutions on helping this? Guest guest
what is important whenever dealing with neck problems is to do the head press on one side three times SLOWLY and then the other side and then to the back and then the front. Once you have done this you can rotate SLOWLY. The initial movements will help to correct muscular inbalance and tension before you carry out the rotation. - rrosariorio Thursday, April 05, 2007 12:17 AM Re: Secrets of fixing a stiff neck Wish I would of known this a few weeks ago.I had a very stiff neck. Guest guest
Yea, I help people fix 'em every day with the McKenzie method (www.mckenziemdt.org). If you are fortunate enough to find a practitioner with an energy medicine background, you'll even be better off. Try this: Roll up a bath towel and lie down on your right side with the roll just above your hips. Don't sleep on your right side without it. Troy Marsh, PT, Cert. Guest guest
Hi Diane - I go to a good chiropractor -- one who works with Touch for Health. Your problem could be in your sacrum -- and actually be starting in a clogged colon -- which contracts the muscles that hold your sacrum in place. It all starts with clogged energy -- I'm always amazed where I find new pockets of chronic tension!
