Guest guest
I thought of it but sometimes I don't get to the computer for several days I think the current problem is one person who subscibes then unsubs after posting Could you maybe get a moderator to help you out in case you can't check everyday? I am moderator on several of my groups...and it is a means of having extra help with problems. Also, if an e-mails doesn't get posted for a few days...well heck, we all know how is always burping and delaying or losing our e-mails. Guest guest
Folks, What about the idea of us all not clicking on the links unless there is explanation. Surely this is the simplest way. Hopefully we can all make responsible decisions about what we read and dont read. My delete key is used a lot. Guest guest
I agree with you Patti.....I never open an e-mail that has no explanation...even if I recognize the addy....just like I no longer open attachments from anyone.......I sometimes think my delete key will get worn out I use it so much. Guest guest
I have suggested that too and have mentioned it in the welcome files just added a new welcome file and temporarily set new members on moderation and have deleted those spammers who had not instantly d. I also have deleted those bouncing members who had been bouncing for significant amounts of time and were unreachable. Guest guest
I don't open them either; but that doesn't solve the problem behind the e-mails. These people need to be blocked so they'll stop entirely--if their messages don't get through, they will give up, and move on to another list that will allow them to do this. I use my delete key quite freely in all of my groups, and without complaint--those junk links go without having even been opened, it's obvious what they are by the subject line. Someone (the links poster) thinks they are being funny, and getting away with being a complete jerk. I simply don't stand for such childishness in my groups, and I'm very glad to see that some action has been taken against them. If it had been someone who was taking the time to actually discuss something I didn't care about, I never would have said a word--and for quite some time, I didn't say anything about this. I just don't like to see nice people like Peggy and the rest of you, being taken advantage of by jokers like this person. Ahreinya
