Guest guest
I have been trying to figure out some precise way of identifying the vertebrae counting. For what i have seen around here, practicioners tend to miss this counting by ONE (above or bellow). Several methods of aiding us to identify a precise counting - sugested by praticioners - seem to lack a precision in vertebrae location that could assure a precison of ONE. - locate the last cervical vertebra by moving the px head and sense the last " moving " vertebra. obs: this doesnt seem to work for some people, because the skin and superficial adjascent tissue tend to " slide " pulled by the neck movement, preventing proper identification, with the required precison of ONE. - The umbilicus is in line with a certain lombar vertebra. obs: this is even more missleading, because the line one traces from the umbilicus will by no means have the required precision - for one may " bend " a fraction of a degree angle and will land one bellow or above - again. - The scapula's tip is on the sevens rib. obs: may be one or two bellow or above... depending on the position and phisiologycal constituition. - locate the 12 th rib. obs: ok, it is failrly easy to do it, but in some persons as u get close to the spine, the erector muscle/fat will totaly hide the ribs - and one may miss by ONE again. - locate the first sacral. obs: not easy to diferentiate the first sacral from the 7 th lombar - in many persons. So... how do you do it? It seems very important to be able to " navigate " properly on the vertebrae. I mean... i want to treat the back shu points of kidneys, and may be treating Bl34 or Bl22. I think i've learned a quite precise way of efectuating this identification. I want to wait though... before i present my sugestion, in order to hear about the particular techniques used by different pract.
