Guest guest
Hi Clay,You may want to try the supplement, melatonin. It's available at most health food/vitamin stores and works really well for me. Check the archives too. Doc has written on this topic before.Dan On 3/3/07, taodofounder <taodofounder wrote: Hey everyone, Still no luck with the sleep thing. I get a little more relaxed with alpha and trance cds but nothing like putting me under. Thsi is a very frustrating topic for me. If any of you is a true insomniac not just an ocasinal not sleep well a couple nights out of the week then you understand the trouble that I am going through. Does any one how or know some one who has a sure fire garenteed kock my butt out works every time technique. It could be profitable for the person who has the cure. Guest guest
I’ve been having some trouble sleeping lately too. Here are a few ideas I’ve used to help myself out. Use the IDD on some of your internal beliefs about sleep. A few presuppositions I’ve noticed in your post are: “God forgot to install a sleep mode in my brain,” “I’m a true insomniac,” “Getting a good night sleep is hard work,” etc. I’m sure you can find some more and delete them yourself. Go into trance and ask your subconscious mind, “If I did know how to get a good night’s sleep every night, how would I do it?” Write down all the answers your get (or tape record yourself) and try them all out. Try the following foods (in small amounts) before bed: chamomile tea, whole wheat toast, honey, almonds. All of the above are known to have sedating effects on your body and increase the release of melatonin which helps you sleep. There are many more “conventional” techniques to try. You can find them on the internet. Don’t “try” to sleep. Everytime I’ve “tried” to sleep it never works. Instead distract your mind somehow. There are certain books I read which have interesting topic matter but are very dry to read. I usually get through a couple of pages before I’m knocked out. Don’t read an exciting book because those will keep you up all night. Find some that work for you and try it. Go into trance and use a hypnotic trigger to get to sleep. “I would like to sleep now. On the count of three I will go into deep, restful, sleep. I will sleep throughout the night and wake up tomorrow feeling rested and refreshed. 1...2...3.” Use the IDD and/or take action on other factors that may be affecting your sleep. Are you depressed? Are your stressed out? Learn what factors might be preventing you from sleeping and get rid of them. There are tons of health sites out there that will tell you what the most common are. Not being able to sleep may be just a symptom of something else. Try webmd.com for a start. Hope this helps, Mike On 3/3/07 8:08 AM, " taodofounder " <taodofounder wrote: Hey everyone, Still no luck with the sleep thing. Guest guest
If you are still interested in someone else's "remedy"....I have finally found something that has worked for me...I haven't shared when you were writing, because it has just worked recently...I think the problem for me was that my mind is constantly on... What I have been doing is going to sleep with my hand on my neurovasculars (forehead)...I fall asleep like this...I can feel myself "disconnect" from my thoughts as I am relaxing and falling asleep...I still wake up in the middle of the night...that is Ok...I just do the same this thing to get back to sleep..sometimes I will take some supplements to help with sleeping when I get impatient ....this is a huge change for me...I have had problems with sleeping for about 25 years...it was horrible when I had my kids..slept 1 1/2 hours a night for 4 1/2 years...then I leand on sleeping pills for 5 years, finally doing EFT, NET, body work, and energy medicine. Holding my forehead is the best! ...while thoughts are running through my head, the emotion that is attached to them becomes neutralized and then I am not attached to them anymore...finally I have peace!!! hopes this helps!
