Guest guest
" MT's, and how they affect your decision making skills! " Today, one of my martial arts clients came in. He didn't know it but he suffered from MT's. He told me he'd just been fired, and wasn't sure what to do. Very depressed. I asked him a few questions, and he was right, he didn't know what to do, or how to make proper decisions about his future. So I asked him to do a simple martial arts skill, Basic A. He couldn't remember it. I asked him to do another simple skill, Basic B. He couldn't remember it. He then told me he could do Basic D. So I asked him to do it. He wasn't even close. So I went back to Basic B, and showed him the first 5 simple moves. The poor fellow couldn't get his feet to match his hands. He was massively Homolateral. So I told him to do the basic 3 thumps. He looked at me very confused, even though he's been a student for 2 ½ years. I thumped my K-27's. He gently tapped his K-27's. I SCREAMED at him, " don't tap them THUMP them HARD! " He started thumping them HARD. Then he stopped. I asked him, " where's the rest? " He didn't have a clue to what I was talking about. So I went through thymus tap, Spleen lymphatics tap. I told him to do the cross crawl. It was ugly to behold. So I went through the homolateral repattering cross crawl sequences with him. Then I went back to Basic skill B. He could easily do it. Then I showed him an Advanced Technique, " 14 Blows of the Dragon " . He could easily do it. I then asked him what he thought he should do about his life now that old job was gone. I did mention that I'd told him that job was not fitting his personality BEFORE he took it. His answer, " Yes, I know, now " . And he grinned. His lady friend is getting back together with him again. Before his lesson his job possibilities seemed very poor. Now, after the lesson his job possibilities seemed very good. Now, group, what is this post about? Does anyone know what a MT is? Who is incharge of all those MT's inside of you? Why did I NOT use tapping as a method to help him in the above situation? Could I have used tapping to assist him? If so, how specifically? What was contextual about his time with me that caused me to choose the tactics that I used so successfully?
Guest guest
Hi Doc, I have no clue what an MT is yet, so I will leave that until I find the answer. I will go for the other questions though: " Why did I NOT use tapping as a method to help him in the above situation? " He came in for a martial arts lesson, if you used tapping then that would have taken valuable time away from your intended drills for your class. Tapping was not the best method to use in this context. You first recognised his energies were screwed. This was confirmed by his inability to do any of the simple drills you gave him. Then you gave him some powerful and simple drills for him to do quickly that will get his energies running correctly, so he can easily do the drills for your planned lesson. His also got a bonus(es) in that he can now be in charge of what he wants to do, new job, choices etc. etc. " Could I have used tapping to assist him? If so, how specifically? " You could have used tapping (not in this context though) after he did the drills to get his energies running correctly. In Feinstein's CD he states that Reversed energies are one of the 5 kinds of ND. You gave him 3 drills to correct this (3 Thumps, cross crawl, then the homolateral cross crawl), because you calibrated that his meridians where running backward and he was homolateral. Then you could use IDD to address his turds, once they are removed install the positive resources into his future according to his goal (s). " What was contextual about his time with me that caused me to choose the tactics that I used so successfully? " He came to you for martial arts training, so in that context he is seeing you as his Teacher for that only. If he was a client who wanted help in his depression over his job loss then you probably would have done things differently in a one on one session. By easily fixing his energies, you could then get into the task of your teaching your class. You got the job done quickly and effectively.
