Guest guest
Hi Karen, It's likely that we know that stone under another name. I have sunstone, which is an orange feldspar, and glodstone & blue goldstone which are described as the man-made version of sunstone. I just looked up sunstone in Melody's book & it said it comes in these colors: grey green yellow brown orange peach pink & red. I'd love to see a photo of the stone. And even more, I'd love to get some in Glastonbury myself. Please let us know what you discover, Evelyn
Guest guest
Hi - unforuantely I don't have a scanner They are darkish blue covered in wonderful sparkles! The same as gold/sunstone but only dark blue - really beautiful. My daughter bought a lovely Buddha made of it as well. Karen
Guest guest
Then I misunderstood what you meant. I thought she got it on the ground. If she bought it, that's different. Goldstone is the name for the man-made version of sunstone. It's glass with copper inside. It comes in the brown and dark blue (which I've heard called StarStone) and now I understand it's found in dark green. The copper fills the inside and is just gorgeous. It's the only non-organic " stone " I use in my jewelry. It feels wonderful, and joyous. I heard that these stones were only made by one group of monks in Italy for a very long time. Now I hear it's changed. Can't substantiate either story. It's just beautiful. Evelyn
