Guest guest
Hi group, One of the easiest ways I know to tell if a specimen is calcite or not, is that calcite has the unique quality of doubling print when it is placed over it. So if you take the stone and place it over a newsprint or book and you see a doubling effect when you look through it to the print beneath, you will know you are probably dealing with calcite. I hope this helps, love & Light, Riki Tax Center - online filing with TurboTax http://taxes./
