Crystals vibrations and numerology.

Hello All:

 

I have been thinking about the post referencing specific vibrational levels

for stones/crystals, and what that would mean. We know that stones/crystals

vibrate *because* of their structure. Their individual structure is what

gives them their vibrational quality, which then determines what their basic

*use* will be. I am still loath to put a specific *number* to any given

stone/crystal, as each crystal is slightly different, how each person uses

them is slightly different, and how they interact with other stones/crystals

differs on what other stones/crystals are being used.

 

I am very involved with several different healing modalities: Tarot,

non-Tarot oracles, Reiki, crystals and herbs, to name a few. One of the first

things that I noticed was that different modalities can be used in

conjunction with each other, and that how they are used will differ from

practitioner to practitioner.

 

I use numerology and Tarot on a daily basis (together). They flow together,

making each *more* than it would be on its own. When I think of adding

numerology to the stone/crystal people, my first thought would be using them

in amplification - i.e. increasing/decreasing the *force* of the vibration.

Numerology might also come in handy when designing a grid, or other such

uses. I am finding it very hard to take the basic *tone* of an individual

number and assigning it to a stone/crystal person: i.e. Rose Quartz is a 3

etc. (That number was pulled out of the air - don't panic! LOL) I am going to

go so far as to say that assigning numbers to the vibration of the

stone/crystal people may have a tendency to put walls around them, to limit

them.

 

Peggy has given us a wonderful gift in using this forum (e-list) as a

teaching/work shop venue. I came here with years of self study and personal

work with crystals, as many of you did. I wanted to put a framework to my

work, and found that this is an excellent venue to do that in. What I am

saying, and this is my very personal opinion, so apologies to Peggy if I am

overstepping myself here, is that while all questions/opinions/ways of doing

things are welcome here, perhaps we need to look less at *defining* the

stone/crystal people, and more at what I believe is Peggy's true intent - to

learn to work with the stone/crystal people with great respect and humility.

 

Again - these are my personal views, and I apologize to Peggy ahead of time

if they are coloring outside of the box.
