Guest guest
Hello. I'm a Rio de Janeiro-based acupuncturist and massotherapyst (shiatsu anma tuina) who likes to chat and discuss everything that's related do acupuncture and TCM, specially TCM history, terminology, translation issues etc. Big fan of Paul Unschuld, Feit/Zmiewsky, Larre/Rochat de la Vallée, Sivin and so forth. Every day I burn incense in a shrine I made in my office under pictures of Peter Deadman and Mazin al-Khafaji for the absolutely groundbreaking, invaluable contribution to acupuncture learning in the western world that is their Manual of Acupuncture... I'm also a taiji quan teacher and national and pan-american gold medalist in yang family traditional forms who practices and teaches taiji quan as a TCM modality rather than as a martial art.
