Guest guest
I went to the doctor this past week. I was floored to find out my results of lipid profile. total-278 LDL-172 Trig-373 They told me they didnt take my HDL because the " good " cholesterol doesnt matter. They made it sound like if I wasnt started on medication within a week the grim reaper would be on the way. I am 33yr old white male. Dont smoke, dont use drugs. I take MSM, Cayenne pepper, Multi B, vit e, garlic, V8 and lecithin everyday. I do drink alot of coffee and have drank alot of beer. (Which I have stopped now). My blood pressure has always stayed at 120/76. Not only do I feel terrible from high cholesterol, caffeine withdrawl, and alcohol withdraw but the added stress of the nurse telling me I am in bad shape and looks to be trouble. Am I really that bad as they say? Does coffee and alcohol raise my count this much? Am I taking the wrong vitamins or should I be taking something else?? Next week I start an exercise program. I am afraid to eat anything now. Help thanks in advance
Guest guest
Read Protein Power, by Drs. Michael and Mary Eades. The chapter, Cholesterol Madness, will tell you exactly what to do to rapidly lower your blood cholesterol levels, especially the LDL levels. If you are careful reader, by the time you finish that chapter you will know more about cholesterol than 95 percent of the physicians in practice today. Do NOT take the drug lovastatin. It has caused liver problems, muscular disorders, gallbladder disorders, rashes and psychiatric disturbances. Pam stormytide69 <stormytide69 wrote: I went to the doctor this past week.
