Guest guest
John, Gee, i only wish that i could convince people to come to me for 50 visits at just $60 each. After 1 or 2 sessions we know if what i do will help. If there is no relief in a few visits, I feel I am wasting their money. I guess that is just because i dont have an MD behind my name..... Have you looked into myofascial trigger point therapy to relieve your chest pain? If the tests are all negative and there is still no explanation for the pain, it might be referred pain from trigger points. There are relatively good pictures of referral patterns at http://danke.com/Orthodoc/outline.html but the best source of info is to go to a medical library and get a copy of " Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction " by Drs Janet Travell and David Simons. You will want Volume 1. Even easier is to go to the book store and get the second edition of " Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain " by Devin Starlanyl, open to page 90 -91. Does this look like your Pain??? There is a good continuing education for doctors page about trigger points at http://members.tripod.com/~DrCarol/contEdu/index.htm There is a muscle called the Sternalis that in some people sits on the sternum and the only thing that it really does is make cardiologists rich. If this muscle has active trigger points in it the referred pain is very similar to cardiac chest pain. The pectoralis muscle also gives referred pain to the chest as do a few others. Please email me privately if you have any questions, I dont always get through all my mail on the multitude of groups I am on. I am a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist and have helped many people rid themselves of pain that they were told they had to live with. The biggest problem with this therapy is that there are not enough of us to go around. Look to my organizations web site to find someone in your area. > " John Polifronio " <counterpnt >Re: Chelation therapy. > >I've had over 50 IV chelation treatments for chest pain.
