Guest guest
>> I do not think it matters one bit whether the vitamins are extracted from plants, grown in vats of yeast, or synthesized in the lab so long as the molecular structure is identical. Vitamin E is a good example. The manmade stuff has mixed optical rotation & only one of them is active. So I avoid bottles which try & sell me capsules with mixed optical rotation. But in vitamin C, there is (as far as I know between synthesized & extracted, other than cost -- and I appreciate cheap vitamins whenever possible.>> 1. I think Vitamin E should be the natural kind. 2. Now for Vitamin C maybe someone can add to this; But Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is not really a vitamin. The formulas for Sugar, Alcohol, Starch and Vitamin C ................ ARE :: Cx-Hy-Oz or C11- H22- O11 or something like that-- now those numbers after the Element such as C11, or Carbon 11 --change between the four named nutrients. Just a little. Remember sugar in an ear of Corn changes to starch if you do not cook it quickly! Too bad sugar does not change to vitamin C in humans; as it does in some animals? There have been a few drunks whose digestive system changed sugar into Alcohol! No they were not Irish. Well some animals make their own vitamin C.
