Guest guest
Some amino acids help stimulate neurotransmitters in the brain. That is why some of them help depression. I don't know allot about the function but I did read that there are some groups of amino acids that we can take every day and others are stored in the body so it is best to take these off and on. I just tried GABA but did not get any results. It was a low dosage and I will try another brand. What brand did you try that worked so well? GABA is supposed to lift mood and energy levels that is why it is used to treat depression. Doesn't sound like you need the GABA. Or try a lower dose. I went to the store and there was GABA for over 1,000 mg and another for 700 mg. I found another for 200 mg. So I bought the 200 mg but didn't feel any change. I didn't want to start out with a 700 mg because I was afraid that was to high. Maybe 700 isn't high and it is average. What miligrams were your aminos? Liz D. Guest guest
Some amino acids do help to stimulate the neurotransmitters and provide a boost. The Enzymatic Therapy GABA is good and so is the Source Naturals 750mg. I've been shopping at Discountvitaminshop.com which seems to be the best prices, if you find it cheaper please post it.
