I am posting an exchange with Ysha that might be helpful to others

here. We were talking about essential oils for abundance. I checked

the site and was drawn to Valor blend for my son who is in Iraq and

I shared I have been using Clary Sage for feeling " pissed off " and

what feels like beginning of a bladder infection. She had mentioned

a 56 year old woman giving birth. I was drawn to use the clary sage

and Ysha's description of it is exactly what I need to address -- I

love it when my inner guidance is confirmed.

" It is hormone blancing depends on body's need tho more estrogenic.

I find it very helpful also for feeling divided, uncertainties,

changing my mind type mental process. It helps ground and calm in

deeply feminine strength and wholesomeness. "

I have had my worst day ever this morning in regards to my son whom

I have not heard from since Mother's Day and I was talking with Red

Cross to find him this morning. In deep grief I pulled a card from

my Motherpeace cards --Empress, the Mother. I am having experiences

of feeling other's mother's pain as well as my own. I will let you

know how the Clary Sage works for me. I may bathe in it this

afternoon. Seriously.

Hi Janel:

Just go to http://www.youngliving.us/US/products.asp and scroll down

to the blends. It is the first one (abundance). Clary Sage is

awesome support for women at anytime, including pregnancy but

legally I think we can't say so. Dr. Gary Young, founder of the

company I'm referring you to above link, it was his wife at age 52

with first, and 56 with second. Both vaginal deliveries into Gary's

hands. She took Clary Sage thru her pregnancy also in capsules; it

is hormone blancing depends on body's need tho more estrogenic. I

find it very helpful also for feeling divided, uncertainties,

changing my mind type mental process. It helps ground and calm in

deeply feminine strength and wholesomeness. Yes, maybe this is

better!

Ayurvedically, look up on one of the websites giving basic education

for reducing pitta dosha. When anger and passions are troublesome

yes liver is involved, and this is the best season as well to purify

them. From eating extra apples and pomegranites daily to taking

some bitter herbs to taking more cleansing approach, Ayurveda offers

balancing rather than side-effect imbalancing during cleansing. We

could carry on more?

Just wishing this info part can get posted, would you mind?

My prayers go out for your son Laszlo " Joe " Uray right now. The

group meditation programs here are daily on the level of group

intent for peace, compassion, and other such virtues to be enlivened

in the world. It is not by specific names or anything, but about

creating and deepening each individiual participant's state of

growing unity consciousness. It is very peaceful here, you should

visit sometime!

Someone had a baby at 56?? Wow.

Yes, my son is there. It's the hardest thing in my life -- and

weighing me down. The amount of energy it takes to reconcile all of

the emotions -- to make it make sense that my child may die, kill

others, or be traumatized his whole life is such a drain --- I am

grateful for the ability to channel some of it into my healing birth

projects. Maybe there is reason I can't find the Abundance oil,

maybe I need something to integrate and to energize. Any

suggestions -- it's like a mother's angst. I will send him some

Valor when I find out where he is.

If there is a group praying for the troops there, please give them

his name to pray for him and his men. His name is Laszlo " Joe " Uray.

Thanks so much.

Janel, I am so sorry you are suffering over your son's whereabouts. It's tough

letting them go be men in the world. My treasured grandson has been in the Navy

for 2 months. I was thinking more along the lines of hiding him in Canada, but

he chose to go. I wrote him 10 letters before he wrote one.

The " curse " of motherhood is not the pain of childbirth like they say, but

rather the knowledge that we can't protect them from the world. Hang in there

and try to not think about all the " what if's. " There are too many. And he may

be just laughing it up in the barracks somewhere.

So true about the curse of motherhood. Who would have babies if they

knew the full magnitude?? The mother-child relationship is the most

profound human relationship -- every other relationship starts out far

apart, moves closer together over time with trust. The mother-child

relationship begins emeshed, symbiotic, and begins at birth to

individuate, and over time, the goal is for the child to move away.

All while maintaining the intense attachment.

Another reason for this sacred window work -- it really is so

important. Along with all of the aspects of the work, when you the

doula has the intention to bring support, love, nuturing, and balance

to the relationship of the mother-baby, it has to happen. Even when

the young mother doesn't quite know it. Wondeful work you all are

doing.

By the way, my questions about clients -- who they are -- was more for

the doulas on this list. I am curious about the women who seek this

care -- they are the women who are really changing the energy.
