Guest guest
I am posting an exchange with Ysha that might be helpful to others here. We were talking about essential oils for abundance. I checked the site and was drawn to Valor blend for my son who is in Iraq and I shared I have been using Clary Sage for feeling " pissed off " and what feels like beginning of a bladder infection. She had mentioned a 56 year old woman giving birth. I was drawn to use the clary sage and Ysha's description of it is exactly what I need to address -- I love it when my inner guidance is confirmed. " It is hormone blancing depends on body's need tho more estrogenic. I find it very helpful also for feeling divided, uncertainties, changing my mind type mental process. It helps ground and calm in deeply feminine strength and wholesomeness. " I have had my worst day ever this morning in regards to my son whom I have not heard from since Mother's Day and I was talking with Red Cross to find him this morning. In deep grief I pulled a card from my Motherpeace cards --Empress, the Mother. I am having experiences of feeling other's mother's pain as well as my own. I will let you know how the Clary Sage works for me. I may bathe in it this afternoon. Seriously. Ysha: Hi Janel: Just go to http://www.youngliving.us/US/products.asp and scroll down to the blends. Guest guest
Janel, I am so sorry you are suffering over your son's whereabouts. It's tough letting them go be men in the world. My treasured grandson has been in the Navy for 2 months. I was thinking more along the lines of hiding him in Canada, but he chose to go. I wrote him 10 letters before he wrote one. The " curse " of motherhood is not the pain of childbirth like they say, but rather the knowledge that we can't protect them from the world. Hang in there and try to not think about all the " what if's. " There are too many. And he may be just laughing it up in the barracks somewhere. Guest guest
So true about the curse of motherhood. Who would have babies if they knew the full magnitude?? The mother-child relationship is the most profound human relationship -- every other relationship starts out far apart, moves closer together over time with trust. The mother-child relationship begins emeshed, symbiotic, and begins at birth to individuate, and over time, the goal is for the child to move away. All while maintaining the intense attachment. Another reason for this sacred window work -- it really is so important. Along with all of the aspects of the work, when you the doula has the intention to bring support, love, nuturing, and balance to the relationship of the mother-baby, it has to happen. Even when the young mother doesn't quite know it. Wondeful work you all are doing. By the way, my questions about clients -- who they are -- was more for the doulas on this list. I am curious about the women who seek this care -- they are the women who are really changing the energy.
