Dear Friends of/ Expectant Parents and of Ayurveda;

 

It is our honor to announce AyurDoula training upcoming intensives in

a wonderful facility called 7 Centers Yoga Arts here in Sedona,

Arizona. (http://7centers.com/AyurDoula.htm). They have an

experienced Ayurvedic kitchen and staff with lovely facility to host

our workshops in Ayurvedic postpartum care and perinatal aromatherapy.

We hope this announcement reaches those able and wanting to serve

mothers and babies in this way.

 

November 9-16, 2007

Ayurvedic Postpartum Care Intensive

and

AyurDoula Level I Certification Program

 

This program gives the student both a foundational and an experiential

introduction to Ayurvedic concepts, applying them to the unique needs

after childbirth. Classes will include:

 

* Ayurvedic Philosophy & Nutrition

* Foundations of Postpartum Care and Cooking

* Basic Postpartum Herbal Preparations

* Ayurvedic Infant Massage

* Perinatal Essential Oils

* Post-Natal Yoga.

 

The November intensive is open to anyone. It is designed for the

range - practitioners who want a better understanding of this

specialty, parents in preparation, and prospective AyurDoulas who

would want to take the Level 2 intensive in March, for certification

in this valuable profession.

 

The material will accommodate those new to Ayurveda featuring some

daily Ayurvedic cooking & principles review, with daily modules in all

the subjects above for good learning variety.

 

Introductory Ayurveda will be taught by Avani Robinson, Clinical

Ayurvedic Practitioner and Panchakarma Practitioner. For postpartum

yogic concerns Shraddhasagar, founder and yoga teacher training

director at 7 Centers offers the cautions and very gentle appropriate

use of yogic breath, posture and spiritual balance with a newborn and

postpartum psycho-physiology.

 

Level I Course Fee is $1,295.00 - ($500 deposit to reserve your spot,

plus $795 due 30 days before class begins).

The course has a limited number of participants and is already 1/3

full, so please reserve early. Level II training is additional.

No prerequisites required.
