Guest guest
My dear friend is almost 8 months pregnant and recently found out that her baby may have some sort of blockage in the colon. They do not know if this means there is a blockage somewhere along the large intestinal tract, or if it means that the baby does not have an anal opening and will need a colostomy bag right away. Any herbal recommendations, treatments, specialist leads (she is in NYC), etc are all welcome. I told her I would ask around for advice and information since she doesn't know the specifics yet and so I am really not sure what exactly I am asking for here... Just wanted to help her as best I can with the communities I know. Namaste, Lexie
Guest guest
Dear Lexie - The only thought that comes to mind is knowing sometimes babies are born with anal opening not quite right, and gentle massaging with warm ghee helps it to stretch and relax and open. Also ingesting of a little ghee helps baby's movements to be more easy. Otherwise I do not know enough to make any suggestoins for her now except visualization and there must be some herb/essential oil/marma point work that would encourage correcting the energetic level seed form manifestation...Please let us know what is learned? The idea of a baby with a colostomy bag sounds so extreme! But what is your read on it from the jyotish astrology for them - the karma, and best corrective angles? There must be some clues? Love, Ysha > My dear friend is almost 8 months pregnant and recently found out that her baby may have some sort of blockage in the colon. Guest guest
Ysha- Can you pass this on to whoever posted this? Thanks ~Karen Prior I don't have any herbal recommendations, but I can share our story about this. We also had an ultrasound that showed this in my daughter. Actually we had 12 total ultrasounds between 7 and 9 1/2 months and all confirmed this. We underwent genetic counseling and were prepared for the events that would follow birth. Then my last ultrasound showed a normal large intestine and baby was born perfectly healthy. I have since found out that the false-positive diagnosis for this by ultrasound is quite high. I hope that this is the case for your friend. I encourage her to spend lots of time in prayer and meditation over it. I have come across many others who have had similar experiences to mine. Guest guest
Happy New Year! To update you all: On December 18th, my dear friend I emailed about delivered a very healthy baby girl, Kokoro (meaning " Heart " in Japanese)! Even though the doctors kept insisting there was a blockage along the GI tract up until a few weeks before delivering, little Koko has a perfectly clear and working intestinal tract. Just goes to show that (luckily!) even sonograms can be mistaken... Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! Namaste, Lexie
Guest guest
it's a shame the baby had to go through 12 ultrasounds. No? Guest guest
Yes...Vicky, what are the contraindications? Ysha > it's a shame the baby had to go through 12 ultrasounds. No? > Vicky
Guest guest
they are still doing research to determine the safety of ultrasounds and perhaps are safe. It just seems like " authorities " shoot first and ask questions later when selling products or procedures. It's just sound waves, but we don't know what that feels like to babies.
