Hi Sue,

nose, and chest congestion, cough.

I've had a head and chest cold the last few days and have been

diffusing a blend of Eucalyptus, Fir Needle, Rosemary, Oregano and Lemon.

My aunt swears by steam inhalation of Cajeput whenever her sinusitis

acts up, so you may want to try that too, if you have some handy.

Hello!

I had a blend of Basil, Rosemary and Peppermint. I thought it was very

helpful for my congestion. Plus, I swear by the neti pot. It is a

sinus rinse. I highly recommend it to anyone with sinus issues. The

combination of the neti and aromatherapy has saved me in the past!

Good luck,

Kamron

Sue,

Something I've always used that work for my family is an electric

essential oil diffuser. I drop 10-20 drops each of peppermint,

eucalyptus, rosemary, sage, and fir needle into the diffuser and let it

waft through the bedrooms at night. It always seems to help everyone

breathe a little easier.

I also make a vapor rub using those same essential oils (with the

addition of only about 5 drops of white camphor - camphor can be an

irritant, so use it sparingly). Melt a cup of your favorite carrier oil

with an ounce of beeswax until it is completely melted. Add the

essential oils (if you want the exact number of drops, email me at

jokrupinski @ and I will get you my recipe), and then pour into

containers. This helps me through the winter :o)

Good luck!
