Guest guest
Hi all I'm having problems with my hearing. My ears are crackling and sort of hollow, like I'm hearing things from a distance. Other than shoving neat oils in my ear (lol - no intention whatsoever!) any ideas? Thanks LLx

I was just thinking the same thing for myself since I'm deaf in one ear today. Damned ear won't come unplugged no matter what I do! (Aren't certain brands of EO's supposed to cure deafness?!) Anyhow, sounds like your ears are plugged up too, if they're crackling. Do you have an ear syringe to rinse them out with warm water? Guest guest
No, I've not (the syringy thing) I was thinking about oils to dilute and massage around the ears? LLx (the no eared girl) > Haha! Guest guest
Dr.Oz (from the Oprah show) said to put some drops of 'mineral oil' in your ear, then lay on your side for 1 hour...and then make sure you have a towel under your ear when you get up, cause it will run out....but that is suppose to unclog any wax build up in there. Just an idea. - Sue - Liz ATFE2 Sunday, March 09, 2008 9:24 PM Re: [ATFE2] Hearing No, I've not (the syringy thing) I was thinking about oils to dilute and massage around the ears? Guest guest
Hey Liz, Have you ever heard of the Hopi ear candles, they are great for getting the gunk out of your ears. Guest guest
Hi guy's Thanks for all the suggestions on this. I've decided to try a blend of Helichrysum italicum and Lavandula officinalis in jojoba, (2 drops HI and 1 drop LO in 5ml = 3% blend) massaged behind and around (but NOT in) my ears. Will report back... LLx
