.....About

RUTA GRAVEOLENS?

We Know its common name is Rue

We know the herb is quite toxic and also photo toxic.

http://tinyurl.com/38ogw4 - Plants for the Future Data base.

We know that the oil is listed as " caution " (Tisserand, 1996) " do not

use in AT " (Lawless, 1997) and " Not to be used for dermal application "

(Watt).

Now we know that :

Gary Young discovered and distilled Rue in Ecuador ! Wow....

And now he sells it as RUTAVALA blend for use in depression etc...

New Oil Blend.

Just when you thought it was safe to go into the water....

But...everyone else's Rue is contaminated, and adulterated, and not of

therapeutic grade.

His is DIFFERENT and safe to use.

All his oils are different, and safe to use.

Gosh Marge! I'd forgotten that! Silly me ;-)

Seriously folks I'd keep away from Rue there are other, safer, oils to

help with depression.

Reminiscent of when GY introduced the common tansy (tanacetum

vulgare)essential oil just because he found it on his property in Idaho and

had an uncle he could teach to distill it. . .certainly not the safest oil

to use and not a common oil in the aromatherapy toolbox in use by 'safe and

saners'.

I'm sure they do :-)

But not all herb/plants make safe essential oils...
