OT: Deer Hunting ** Was: Shingles & Oregano

Thank you ma'am .. odds are that me using a flintlock will be good

luck for the deer. ;-) Regular rifle season will be a different

matter as we've got far more deer around here than we had last year

and last year we had too many.

Thankee ma'am and wishing your husband good luck I am. I would

probably pass up an 8 pointer for a doe or spike buck .. I have an 8

pointer mounted so I'm really meat hunting and the younger the better

in that case. But a 10 pointer .. then we will eat tough meat. ;-)

We are lucky to have a deep water well and the garden is within reach

so water was not an issue.

Good it is and I wish him well .. its a very good life .. I miss it.

Actually, he's learning the rules of the system and as he progresses

through the ranks he'll have an opportunity and obligation to improve

the system. :-)

Won't be out Hunting. Don't own guns, don't want any guns, but like any good

hypocrite, I'd surely take the venison in a HEART BEAT!!!

 

Actually, I've never had a problem with hunting, it's guns that serve no

purpose but to kill people that I object to.

 

How about duck? Goose? Elk? You gonna go for them folk? How about Moose?

I've never chowed down on that before, but I'd give it a go.

P.S. Oh and Rhavda... Yes the kids are all going trick or treating again.

Still dressing up, even the eldest who's 14 and should know better. Costumes

are going to be minimal this year, masks for everyone but no full out

costumes. Too broke to breathe and with this economy, I may have to give up

that right too. ;-) Thanks for Asking about them. K
