" I thought it was to lessen the symptoms of the flu, not prevent complications. My son was on it, came home from college with confirmed H1N1 a few weeks ago. He ended up with pneumonia in both lungs. He got over the actual flu pretty quickly, but had 103 fever for days which was why we ended up getting a chest x-ray done. None of us got sick, I am a firm believer that if your constitution is strong you are less likely to catch things...and he definately was worn out from very, very late nights in the studio working on his college projects.
