Guest guest
Hi All, Well, as I mentioned in an earlier message. Minnesota and surrounding area is getting ready for a nasty blizzard. They are comparing it to one we had back on Halloween 1991 which was very bad and lasted for 3 days. Dumped about 3 feet of snow and we weren't ready that early in the season. I'll keep you posted. Right now it is beautiful - if you like cold weather. No snow falling yet where we live. But they say we could get upto 2 feet of this stuff by Christmas night. It's not so much the amount but the visibility when the wind blows 30-40 miles per hour. And the gigantic snow drifts that form. We are definitely having a White Christmas. So is most of the East Coast too, as you folks just went through a Nasty storm last weekend. We were to go to my sisters for Christmas Eve Lutefisk and Swedish Meatballs supper about 35 miles away, but instead we are staying home and will fix our own feast here - even if it is just me and Al and my other sister and her boyfriend. Merry Christmas everyone! (I'm Greeting everyone early - in case we lose power and I can't get online later.) Penny Your One Stop Aromatherapy Shop! Guest guest
Dear Penny, North Texas is the next part of the country to join you for snow this Christmas. It started snowing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area about 10 AM this morning and quit sometime near 8 PM tonight. This is the first time that I can ever remember in my 60 years that it has snowed on Christmas and stuck to the ground. Everyone that I know is home now and won't be travelling far tomorrow. People drive crazy here whenever it snows so I stay home. I hope that you are having a wonderful Christmas.
