This report indicates that profits are put above patient care at hospitals.

NEW DELHI: After insisting that he had the right to treat his patients at Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre (EHIRC) and making a dramatic comeback thanks to political intervention, cardiac surgeon Naresh Trehan on Wednesday quit the hospital to join Apollo. He claimed that he was "unable to identify with the new corporate value system at Escorts that put profit over patient care."
