Mango Festival, Talkatora Indoor Stadium, July 7, 8, 11 am–8 pm

 

Entry fee: Rs 10 per person

Alphonso, Dussheri, Safeda, Chausa, Langda, Himsagar… the king of fruits comes in various shapes, sizes, hues and flavours. The popular annual Mango Festival organised by Delhi Tourism is not just about mangoes. It is an experience in itself. Go there to see 500 different kinds of mangoes and yes, take a bite, slurp on mango dishes and bring home the pickles… HOT Tip: Think you can pig out on mangoes? Participate in the mango eating competition, held separately for men and women. Stay back for the cultural programmes in the evening.
