I've got another question for you all... Would any of you know of

where I can find some information on herbal treatments for typical

ailments?

As for an update for my neck and back pain... Things are getting

better. My nerologist believes that it is all stress related, and has

told me to " slow down " . I'm trying as hard as I can, and it is

difficult for me to sleep at night, which is one thing he wants me to

try to do more of. (Good luck on that, I say!)

I would appreciate any feedback about my question... Thanks!

Such information, the "This for That" approach,

is dangerous for people to post because of the

ridiculous laws we all have to labor under.

One wrong word and you can be accused of

"practicing medicine without a license".

I would love to see a wide revolt against

this stifling of free speech, but that is

another matter.

Mariah McCain, who founded the excellent

Herbal Healer Academy, has just been forced

to remove from her website exactly the kind

of pages you were looking for.

Anyway, rather than looking for solutions to

specific ailments, you might want to look for

ways to strenghten the WHOLE.

Do that, and the parts look after themselves.

For example, it is amazing how much misery just

clears itself up when you sweep the accumulated

gunk from the colon, encourage the growth of

the right intestinal flora, activate the liver,

and generally get the digestive system in tip top

order.

Now, feed the body complete whole foods and

anti-oxidants.

Add natural anti-inflammatories.

Many plants have natural anti-inflammatory

properties.

Ideally, choose foods from mineral rich soils,

that contain the minerals and trace minerals

you need, in a form your body recognizes as

FOOD.

(hint: you were not designed to digest

ground-up rock)

Nourish the glandular system, without trying

to bypass the body's senstive feedback system.

Do all these things and you are well on your

way to improved health!

There is a saying "a rising tide lifts all boats."

It is usually applied to economics.

The image works well to drive home the

idea of whole body health.

The rising tide does not care if the boat

is stuck on its front, back, or centre.

One program that does all the above

and more is the Rainforest Health Pak.

From the Rainforest repertoire, I would try

Calmazon for easier sleep, and Recovazon for

pain. (oops. Here comes the FDA.)

I also second the magnetic suggestion.

A friend of mine is a cancer survivor,

who lost a large chunk of her pelvis

to surgery.

Sitting is agonizing.

Her Nikken magnetic pillow goes

everywhere she goes.

A sleep system is pretty pricey.

In the meantime, try a bath in Epsom Salt before

you go to bed!

The magnesium will be partly absorbed

by your skin, and help you to calm down.

Very cheap, harmless, and worth a try!

Good luck, and keep us posted!

I recommend the Encyclopedia of Nutritional Supplements.
