Guest guest
I do not think the meat is the only problem here, wild dogs eat raw meat all the time. The flea problems come because of animals that are un-healthy, who's immune system is compromised by chemicals in their food, environment, multiple injections and bad living conditions. The purebreds with problems are in-bred and genetically un-sound. The internet is full of a lot of information about feeding our companion animals food closer to what they would get in a Natural environment. READ the bag on what is in the commercial dog food you buy and put those words in a Search engine and write down all of it on paper. When you come to Ethlanoxin------it is a herbicide used to keep the food from spoiling. Vit C and Vit E do the same, but cost more. And the billions spent on commercial dog and cat food in this country are staggering........would you think any big Company making enormous profits on the waste by-products of the animal packing industry would TELL you that the food you eat is good for your pets? So you make a nice casserole with fresh meat and veggies you bought for your dinner, and it's not good for your dog or cat? Oil drenched fast food isn't------for either one of you.......but what makes commercial dog food made from sick and downed animals, boiled and dried and processed with corn, soybean, and wheat by-products better??? Garbage in=garbage out for both of us, dog and human. I'm not saying this from just reading things, I'm farm born and bred, trained in raising livestock of all kinds. And I've worked off the farm in packing plants in my 1/2 Century of living........on the Kill Floor, in the eviserating room, in the gut tank room. The products deemed not fit for human to eat go into pet food. We've just seen for so long now, the wonderful advertizements on TV about these lovely animals supposedly eating the food being sold, we are not thinking rationally about it anymore.
