Guest guest
Thank you all who answered my reiki question. I thought I drank a lot of water, but I guess it was not enough. And those websites were just what I needed to further explore. As to household chemicals, I switched about a year or so ago to all natural cleaning materials. There are a number of books out there with suggestions & recipes, and the best I found was Better Basics for the Home by Annie Berthold-Bond. She has a natural replacement for just about everything, though I have yet to make a good handcream I like. The air quality in my house is significantly better, andI don't suffer nearly as much as I used to from allergies and sinus troubles. I mostly use vinegar, baking soda, and a few essential oils like tea tree- which is more disinfectant than phenol. For washing windows, straight vinegar works well, and I've found that adding a few drops of lemon oil makes it evaporate faster. It occasionally takes a little more elbow grease to clean this way, but it's cheaper, better for you, and better for the environment. If anyone has any of their own recipes that work well for them, I'd love to hear them, and if anyone wants to hear mine, I'd be glad to post them. Hi Rachel The best I have found is Botanic Gold---it s safe and non-toxic, http://www.ourfamilyshealth.com/nontoxic plus you do not have to go through the mess of mixing and storing your solutions. Yes I sell this product, but I have not found anything like this that can clean candle wax off of cande holders & wipe clean. It also cuts the grease off the stove, has helped 100's of moms with kids & head lice, and is great for removing price tags off of glass ware. I am a big fan of this stuff because it works and everyone who has tried it sends me emails raving about the results.
