Guest guest
Hi everybody, I made a mistake about the size of the nodule, instead of milimeters I stated centimeters, sorry! I don't have a ball in my neck! So here is the correct version: Hello, My name is Cristian 48, it's been 4 years since I became a " quiet " member of the group and it's really exciting. Five years ago I suffered a left hemithyroidectomy, no malignity found. Recently my doctor discovered that a new nodule has formed in the right lobe (10 mm by 6.5 mm in size). I performed all the routine analysis which proved to be OK. Also there is no family history related to thyroid problems. I'm interested in a diet, natural curing treatments or other procedures, any advice that can be helpfully associated with the medication prescribed by the doctor (which is 1 pill of 100g sodium levothyroxine daily until further tests after 6 weeks). I would very much appreciate any help and/or advice, Thank you
Guest guest
I'm Heather from California and I'm a thyroid cancer survivor as of Jan. 2003. My tumor was 7 mm. encapsulated. My question to you would be - has this all happened rather quickly? (the nodule growing?)I've read that a quickly growing thyroid can be evident of cancer. BTW--my thyroid was 10x larger than the normal size. I had a multi nodular goiter that ended up getting cancer INSIDE my thyroid, instead of the outside. Good luck! Guest guest
Hi there: You should phone Karen Masterson Koch. I don't have her number off hand, but their website is www.aloelife.com. I heard her speak and she had a " fix " for thyroid issues. Part of it was drinking aloe and I think taking vitamin E, along with Vitamin C, but you may want to call and verify. She owns the company and will take the time to speak with you. Only be careful with Vitamin E, most of the time it's made from Genetically Modified Soy, so I buy different oils like sunflower, safflower, etc., that are high in vitamin E and use them on salads and so forth. Pine is supposed to be an excellent source of E and Natural health products sells an oil that has Vit E in it from pine. They also have protocols (I'm following their ADHD protocol for my son with success) that they will email you. Best to you!
