Guest guest
Dear Steve and Penny, Thanks for the info on rose hips - I'm definitely going to at least dry them and keep them around to use in tea etc. Mindy Kittay
Guest guest
Pick the rose hips whenthey are red. Put gloves on. Open themout and take out all the little fine hairs. Then dry the shells. Otherwise, when you drink a tea, the fine hairs will evenitch when they come out the other end (grin). Wash them well and don't scrape the fine hairs and seeds out when there is a wind.............Love Penny(having found out by experience ...grin)
Guest guest
That's probably why the source that I reported from emphasized that the fresh ones were more assimilable.
