Guest guest
No offense taken. Steve ----------------------------- EEEK. OK, Steve, it's true that I didn't finish your sentence when repeating it back. You actually said, " the only calcium supplement that not only has been shown to stop osteoporosis, but reverse it. " It's true that I erred by not completing your reference, thereby misquoting you, for which I apologize. In my head I was actually referring to the whole statement, however, when I wondered if it had originated from an advertisement. If you feel comfortable about your sources, fine....I have heard this other part, however, and right or wrong, feel I should repeat it. I am not giving you this as fact; I just don't necessarily trust some of what we read if someone has something to gain. Could be true, of course, and perhaps the author didn't have something to gain in whatever it was you read, I don't know. Everyone needs to do what he feels good about. I just need to repeat what I've heard about this as a balance--even if there is any possibility that I am wrong--because the possibility of what I've heard being right is important. Just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's good, and just because something is in an alternative magazine doesn't make it true, especially if it happens to be written by someone who has something to gain. Just as everything in a health food store doesn't necessarily have anything to do with your good health. I really wasn't trying to get a fight going. Sorry if I offended you.
