Guest guest
Dear Mindy, Here are the ingredients - obviously one can make less than these quantities. This is just the recipe from Sam Biser's notes fromhis videos of Dr. Schultze..........love Penny Herbal Snuff 7 tablespoons of goldenseal root powder 7 tablespoons of bayberry bark 1 teaspoon of garlic powder or granules 1 teaspoon of 200,000 unit cayenne pepper powder or 1 tablespoon of 40,000 unit cayenne pepper powder. Mix. Put a small pinch on the back of the hand. Sniff up one nostril. Quickly put a small pinch on the back of the hand and sniff up the other nostril. Lay down right away to avoid sneezing. Close eyes and relax. Try to avoid sneezing as long as possible. Sometimes you may not sneeze at all. Finally sneeze if necessary or just get up. This clears the sinuses and all the junk inside will either come out from sneezing or when you blow your nose. Relax afterwards for half an hour. Guest guest
Mindy, I imagine you make your own EO's and such, but have you heard of Apothecary Tinctura from Colorado? If so, are they a reputable company for EO's and tinctures? I don;t have the time or space (or patience) to do alot of " manufacturing, eventhough this is definitely to not be disappointed (if you know what you are doing)! Steve ----------------------------- Thanks to everyone who responded with the ingredients - I'm going to prepare some to always have on hand! I have not heard of Apothecary Tinctura but I can point you to some excellent suppliers of EO's (not tinctures though) if you post me privately. I would like to know everyone's opinion on suppliers of the BEST tinctures - I usually don't have the time or the herbs to make my own and there are at least 20 that I would like to keep on hand. thanks, Mindy Kittay

I think they're up in Douglas, Wyoming. Frontier is actually in Norway, Iowa. My daughter and I were just there for the 10th annual Herbfest. Three days of classes, vendors, organic foods, etc. This is a great gathering at an extremely reasonable cost. But, I am looking for a smaller institution for my tinctures. Frontier definitely has good prices and I think their quality is good - I guess I just want a smaller, more hands on type of company. I will check into Turtle Island. Guest guest
My favorite tincture supplier is Turtle Island in Boulder. Next favorite is Frontier Herbs. I think they're up in Douglas, Wyoming. In Colorado Springs there was, as of 2 years ago, a great little store on Colorado Ave. right next to Celebration that made excellent tinctures.
