Guest guest
Dear Herbalists, I visited the Thai market early this morning and found a tree. An amazing tree. They wanted $60 for it. so now I am searching for it on the net but no luck so far. It is called a " Hug Plum " tree and in Phillipino sounded like " Guajella " . The Plums grow from the TREE TRUNK!!! The man who was selling them said he paid $180 for his tree. What he did was cut a branch and put it into the pot. The branch sprouted and grew roots (presumably) and the one I saw were the result of this with two very small fruits. He said they needed to be transplanted to produce a lot of fruits on the tree trunk. Has anyone heard of them? I do not have a place to put them at the moment but as he says he goes there regularly - I will eventually find a place.....also I could not afford to buy one just now. So - has anyone heard of this tree?..............Love Penny
