Guest guest
There is a book that covers alot of the various drugs and how they deplet certain nutrients, and start the " domino effect " . It is called the Drug-Induced Nutrient Depletion Handbook (2nd edition) by R. Pelton, PhD, I. Lavelle, R. Ph., E. Hawkins, R. Ph., and D. Krinsky, R. Ph.. Guest guest
" Rage, depression, and suicidal feelings are best regarded as spiritual problems. These days, that's not given enough attention. And of course there are a few folks out there who can infiltrate a church and get half the congregation well on the way to a nervous breakdown. (this was very well said hehe) It is very important, especially in a situation like this, to carefully consider any spiritual data you're given, see if it squares with what you know to be totally right, and refuse to rely on interpretations from anyone else. " This seems well said Also, if the body is run down enough with all the meds that drain nutrition anyway (ultram, for example), deficiencies in nutrients even with being on a multi vitamin may not be enough to get the body to feel better hence the description of 'depression " . Most people don't seem to be experienced enough with this to determine physical depression (which when the deficiencies are eliminated eliminates the problem) vs. the depression you talk about (above). Though I had a doctor tell me that moms with young children typically have this more than anyone really seems to recognize. He recommended a two hour bath or some equivalent thing once a week where my babies were being babysat by someone other than myself...I still remember feeling aghast at the thought of how to make that work...hehe...I did end up meditating (I am a Christian) so I would play Christian music and relax. (I usually have been quite refreshed doing this.) On the spiritual side of things, when my schedule gets overbooked and things start unraveling as a result, I can stop the intense feelings with of course setting better boundaries, etc, with the scheduling. Concurrently, I also keep things in balance with extra Niacinamide (B vitamin family) and a good st. john's wort (but has to be a good quality herb). The vitamin/herbs help them settle down quite a bit.. Its just plain tiring having kids the ages you mention (My boys are almost age 13 and almost age 10). Let me tell you; these ages are a whole lot easier than 3 and 5. Even ages 5 and 7 are easier than 3 and 5...so it gets easier to care for the little ones. Figuring out any boundaries that need to be getting set (that may not be getting set) could be helpful in addition to nutrition. I found I just overworked when my kids were young. Now, of course, my kids clean house about as well as me and are real contributing members of our " team " . And getting enough water is really important. Take care of yourself sweetie...
