About who is asking the questions here about lifestyle changes.... really

good point!! I'm waiting to see if this dear man intends to go back to long

work days with high tension and long drives, or if he's really willing to

change our lifestyle to something simpler. He's only happy when he's working

outside in his garden (you should see his compost system!), but doesn't think

we can live that way.

 

I have the responsibility for buying and preparing our meals - that's one

of my contributions to the family - so it's natural for me to want to know

more about it. But, yes, he should be committed to change before I start

jumping through hoops! I'm not sure if this is a rare health condition; our

kids have very few health poblems and no dental cavities, so I believe that

it was DH's diet in his early years that gave him a poor start. That may

have made his genetic code take a nose dive and cause his heart problems. <g>
