Guest guest
Hi all- just wondering if anyone knows of good natural ideas to help a 3 y.o. boy with type 1 diabetes. He is having a rough time and is really up and down and gets sick easily and is also not talking very much, which is thought to be due to the health issues. Any and all help is appreciated! Guest guest
It's pretty rare for a 3 yo to get diabetes. How was this diagnosed? I'm curious -- this is a research question and i will understand if you don't want to answer -- was there a divorce or death in the family before the boy got diabetes? You can write privately if you want. Sometimes 3 yos. don't talk much for a while, and then make up for it later. This is not usually a cause for concern in itself. But the fact that he gets sick easily is a red flag. At 11:21 PM 9/29/01 -0700, you wrote: >Hi all- just wondering if anyone knows of good natural ideas to help a 3 y.o. boy with type 1 diabetes. Guest guest
They believe that it could have been triggered by having 5 immunizations in one day. The only other person anywhere in the family with diabetes had no immunizations until age 10 and immediately following the vaxxes was diagnosed with diabetes... He was diagnosed about 1.5 yrs ago... No major things happening in the family. He has always been sensitive to everything, since birth. As for the speech delay, he is a bright child, but as his health gets worse, so does his limited speech abilities... As for how it was diagnosed, I cannot remember all the details. It first came about while on vacation and they ended up in an ER. Sindeadriving Geoff nuts since 1994... It's pretty rare for a 3 yo to get diabetes. Guest guest
These immunizations are very controversial. I have heard of several side effects, but not specifically diabetes before. It would, however, be plausible. I'm still trying to figure out all the connections between the liver and pancreas. There is some kind of interconnection, but so far its nature has eluded me. Previous reports on vaccination reactions indicated there was some kind of heavy liver stress. It looks like avoiding certain immunizations, and staggering the ones a child gets, is a prudent course of action at this time.
