Guest guest
Antibiotics have their place in medicine. They shouldn't be dismissed completely. They will work against known bacterial infections like this, and are valuable in that respect. Sometimes an herbal medicine works against this type of infection, but if an antibiotic will work better, might as well use it. I know from hard experience that herbal medicines are generally not as reliable in these cases. We should respect the limitations of herbs as well as their uses. Where i take issue with using antibiotics is when they are used against known or unknown viral infections. In those cases, it's flat-out malpractice, since there is no way any antibiotic can do anything against a virus. Also if antibiotics are used, they must be used according to instructions, and one of the instructions given should be to take some kind of acidophilous supplement to prevent digestive problems. The correct spelling would appear to be streptococci (plural) streptococcus (singular) At 05:45 AM 10/5/01 -0700, you wrote: > >My daughter has strpticocal in her uterus and bladder >her Dr. diagnosed it as this pleases help. > Peg > > -- Michael Riversong ** Professional Harpist, Educator, and Writer ** RivEdu ** Phone: (307)635-0900 FAX (413)691-0399 http://home.earthlink.net/~mriversong
