Guest guest
Hey Doc- Sorry I have been so quiet, that is how life goes. I have not been on the cpu as much and have been so busy with lots of things, including turning my health around. I saw this post on panic attacks and really appreciate your help. I seem to be having alot more of these lately. That is what they feel like - panic/anxiety attacks. In the past higher doses of cal/mag were really working to keep them at bay. I have a mitral valve prolapse and in the past doing research and talking to both MD's and ND's learned that it is not un-common for people with a MVP to have anxiety attacks; thus the cal/mag to relax and get the heart into a better rhythm (if that makes sense). But lately they have been sooooo bad. I get that tight feeling in my chest, worse on the left side, and almost a pressure feeling too, and my throat feels tight and I cannot concentrate. Help! I am also working hard to clear up my candida and lose weight (the change in diet for the candida has helped me to feel tremendlusly better). Any thoughts or ideas? Do you know of any nutritional thoughts that may also help? Thanks much- Sindea > Dear Elana, > There is probably a lot that proper nutrition would help in this area. > As far as an herb is concerned for panic attacks.
