Guest guest
Hi Doc You gave me a very goods answer and advice about my Pompholyx excema. I have done the liver-gallbladder cleanse you suggested with olive oil and lemon juice. Due to the deep tissue repair oil, I havent made this. I have read that one shouldn't care if one or two items are missing, but fulfill anyway. This tonic calls for 68 fluid ounces, and I cannot get hold of wintergreen oil and DMSO. These two should be 40 ounces of the total liquid in this oil, about 58 %. I guess that will be to much to leave out. Another question, I have taken for granted that you dont mean wintergreen essential oil, but an infusion or a pressed oil? Wintergreen eo is obtainable, but I have read that it is toxic for internal use. Arnica Flowers dont grow in my area of the country, and the pharmacy just sell a tincture. There are very strict regulations in Norway due to herbs and essential oils. As an example neither tea tree oil, nor St.Johns worth are allowed for sale in shops any more, only in the pharmacy. But I can pick kilos of more wildgrowing and more powerful St.Johns Worth than the grown one they sell at the pharmacy. Stupid, but thats the way it is. The question is, do you have any suggestions about substitutes for these items? The Jojoba & Tea tree oil combination I could not find anything about. What you said about the liver and bladder made sence to me. I remember I had a problem when I was a kid. I wettened my bed from time to time during the night, I believe it was until I was about 10 years before it stopped. And stress- yes. And I am going to do something about it. Although it means a lot less money in the pocket. Greetings from Heidi in the freeezing cold Norway
Guest guest
Dear Heidi, I am totally unfamiliar with the herbal scene in Norway so can not advise you there. My motto is, if I can't find an organic grower, wildcrafter or organic supplier, I grow it myself and make it myself. Sometimes this takes a lot of research and hard work, but it usually pays off. You are right about the oils below and that amount of oil missing would change the entire workability of the formula. I'm sorry I don't have a solution for you other than to suggest you make your own ;o) Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - flaknan herbal remedies Sunday, December 30, 2001 4:47 PM [herbal remedies] Doc Shillington- Substitutes Hi DocYou gave me a very goods answer and advice about my Pompholyx excema.
