One of the first things to do is make sure you

are getting enough iodine. If you put a half dollar

sized spot of tincture of iodine on, say, your inner

thigh, and it is gone by the time 24 hours have

passed, then you are deficient in iodine and your body

is sucking it up through your skin. So keep on

putting the iodine on until it stays for 24 hours.

Be sure you exercise vigorously for at least 45

minutes each day. You can use a videotape for this.

If you have even 5 extra pounds, lose them.

Ask at a health food store about a supplement

for low thyroid activity. It should have a certain

amino acid in it--I forget it but they will know.

Get your doctor to give you Armour thyroid. It

is much better than what you are currently taking.

Take a good multi vitamin-mineral supplement at

a good high dose for a couple of months anyway. It

will be worth the money.

These things alone will probably be very

sufficient. I hope so. Your life style sounds almost

heavenly. Best wishes, pj

PJ, most days I would agree with you. However, today the windchill is about -5 and at 5 am that's a shock to the system!! LOL! The best part is that I don't have to eat that awful "store chicken". All those chemicals added to it are terrible.

I'll I have been taking a thyroid supplement for a couple weeks. This is what the label says is in it..iodine (113mcg), Zinc (5mg), Copper (300mg), L-Tyrosine (300mg), Coleus forskohili (whole plant-50 mg), Rhodiola rosea (root 30 mg). Does that sound like good mix?? The weight... I'll be working on that....

Oops, one more question. Just to be sure what is a tincture? Is it a mix of something or is it just liquid??
