Guest guest
Hi all! I've been lurking quite a bit lately, but wanted to relay my Ginseng experience... Back when my husband and I first started becoming interested in natural healing and herbs we started using Ginseng. It worked great for him. For me, not such a good experience. After about a week I started bleeding out of cycle, escpecially heavy after intimacy. (Not trying to be vulgar here, just relating my experience.) It also made me irritable and edgy, much like PMS. This, in addition to my regular menses. Needless to say, I quit taking the Ginseng. Mayhap this is one of the reasons it's not recommended for women? Oh, BTW, thanks for the Udo's tip Doc. I no longer have " flaky face " . Hugs to all, Brenda ===== Ignore the wild, insane cackling and the arc of the Tesla coil...It's just the " Mad Soaper " soaping... Guest guest
Dear Brenda, So glad the UDO's Oil tip worked for you and the 'flaky' face is a thing of the past. I love herbal success stories ;o) As far as the Ginseng debate is concerned, I'd have to agree that Ginseng does work best on men where as Women do best with Wild Yam Root, Chaste Tree Berries, and Dong Quai. If I want to add a little zing to a female formula to help pick up the female energy level, I'd also add Damiana, though I refuse to be responsible for any resulting pregnancies ;o) LOL Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - Charles D.
