Guest guest Posted April 23, 2002 Report Share Posted April 23, 2002 Hi all! I'm mostly a lurker, but I'd like some opinions regarding Organic vs. regular groceries. I'm trying very hard to make changes in my diet. Limiting processed foods, more fruit and vegetables, etc. I know that grocery store red meat and chicken is bad but what about fish from the seafood case? What about canned sardines? Isn't regular broccoli from the produce department and grocery store chicken better than a TV dinner? Whats a good substitute for my daily " ham on toast " breakfast sandwich? (I don't care for traditional, sweet breakfast foods) Isn't fresh fruit from the produce department better than canned? Sunflower seeds from 7-11 vs. potato chips????? I know most of you are purists and wouldn't dream of putting some of this stuff in your mouth, but...this is a good start right? Thanks for your input. I really enjoy reading this group.
