Guest guest
Hello All, I just surfed around and found this group and it caught my interest. My name is Rocky and I'm known as The Green Man. I'm a Certified Herbalist and VERY happy to find a group with an ND as Host. I don't claim to know everything about herbs or remedies...I do know that learning should never stop and I'm hoping I can learn alot from this group. I am trying to get a good knowledge base in Homeopathy and I have been using Bach Flower Essence with great success with some of my clients. They love it ! Right now my question is; What is a good book to buy (or CD) or online database for Homeopathic remedies for specific ailments. I am also in question of how to use the different doses 6X...30C...I'm not finding consistant info online. Looking forward to feedback on this. Guest guest
Possibly your problem is with homeopathy in general. There is little consistent information. Most of what i've found that is of high quality is in German. So if you can read German, try searching these two items: " Niepur " , and Steiner + homeopathy. The best homeopaths are generally practicing in Israel and Germany. In fact the best homeopath in Denver is from Israel. In America, my favorite supplier so far has been the Dolisos company, and they have a pretty good web site. I'm interested in seeing other resources as well, and so will be watching this thread closely. Guest guest
Hi and welcome to the group, As this is a herbal group I don’t think I should go on at great length about homeopathy, so if you want to know more, please contact me personally. Homeopathy is based on the law of similars, and as such does not have “specifics”, as prescriptions are tailor made to the patient and not to the complaint. The exception is in emergency, accidents and acutes where prescribing still using the law of similars required less expertise. The reason why homeopathy often fail, is because people are trying to use specifics rather than apply the philosophy on which the system is based. In other word people treat the disease rather than find the remedy which stimulate the curative reaction of the patient. Though the system was devised by a German doctor, it is now extensively used in many countries. In Europe we have imminent homeopaths, especially in Greece, England and other countries, who have written excellent books, and give much time to development of homeopathy with great results. The Argentinean school has many brilliant homeopaths, so have the Indian, Canadian and American. New books are coming out all the time from inspired, knowledgeable, experienced practitioners from all schools of homeopathy. I have more than 500 myself having practiced for 15 years. As I say it is not the place as such to discuss the different philosophies and places of learning. I would only be too pleased to share if you want to. Best wishes, Jocelyne.
