Guest guest
Any idea for VERY BAD mouth ulcer, prevents me from speaking, sleeping etc, spreading from my tongue to my throat. I have taken Echinacea and Total Tonic, but no results, still getting bigger. I am feeling well apart from this. Is there a specific, or something that can just relieve the extreme discomfort. My tongue is very inflamed and swollen too. I look in the archives and could not find anything. Thank you so much in anticipation, Jocelyne
Guest guest
Gentian violet will help if you can find it. The time I bought it was from a regular pharmacy but I had to ask for it. They had it behind the counter. This was a smaller pharmacy not one of the chains. Will stain the mouth purple, this blocks out light and bacteria in the mouth which help these sores to grow, will die. I used this remedy on a 2 month old for thrush after 3 antibotics (before i knew about herbs) didn't work. The dr told me it was something used in the olden days. - jocelyne hemming Herbal remedies Friday, April 26, 2002 2:20 AM [herbal remedies] Mouth ulcers Any idea for VERY BAD mouth ulcer, prevents me from speaking, sleeping etc, spreading from my tongue to my throat. Guest guest
Hi Jocelyne, Zinc lozenges are available at health food stores. They're very healing for sore throats, or for any sore in the mouth. Follow the directions to use them safely. Melinda
