Guest guest
At first I thought I was getting paranoid, but then I thought about it some more & decided I am just observant. I watch one TV show regularly. NYPD Blue -- a cop show. I channel surf during the (far too many) advertisements. So I do get a sampling of ads & programming on other channels. There are a lot of a lot of companies sponsoring NYPD Blue which are selling medical related products or services. There is some Cancer Treatment center, two medical insurance companies, some shrink drugs, some other allopathic symptom suppressant drugs, etc. Being a cop show, there is violence. And that means hospitals & doctors. But today I began to piece things together. There is a whole lot of medical plot & drama on this show which is beyond what I would expect. One woman was lamenting having to spend $20,000 to get pregnant. In earlier episodes, one cop had a kid going to the hospital for a while -- while they thought the kid had leukemia. The docs are always helpful, and kind hearted -- whether the people get better or not. There was a cop on today's show who was hiding the fact he has colon cancer. The family is worried because the docs say it can be treated only if treatment begins right now. Hmmmm . . . No mention is ever made of vitamins or alternative therapies on the show. Not ever. The show does mention high medical costs. The docs are always the good guys. Lots of ads pushing the products & services which are constantly being reinforced during the show. My, I do think I smell something very rotten here. Alobar
