Fraudulently selling non-organic produce as organic could be a threat to an

environmentally sensitive person that needs that kind of food. If someone is

deliberately selling non-organic produce as organic at farmer's markets, who

do you report that to, and is there a penalty for it?

organic enforcement

Hermit,

Sorry to be slow in responding, but I wanted to make sure I had the right

info. For problems such as this you should call The USDA National Organic

Program at (202) 205-7806. Some of the state organic programs are fully

functional but many are not.
