Guest guest
Hi, I am new here. Here is my dilema. My husband has renal cell carcinoma. He's had two surgeries, one to remove the tumor that spread to his brain and the other to remove the tumor and kidney on the right side. While in the hospital he came down with a staph infection that was treated with antibiotics. One week later he developed problems with his left knee. It became swollen and painful. The ortho doctor said there was fluid in there. My h usband refused to have the dr. drain it. He wanted to see if it would get better on its own. A week later it was still the same. So it was decided to do an MRI to see if anything was in there. They did see a foreign body, deciding it could be cartiledge torn off. He did twist it a bit in PT right before it started to bother him. An arthroscopy was done and a small bit of cartiledge was removed. However, the knee was still swollen and painful. He was discharged from the hospital the next day due to insurance running out. Four days later he went to the dr. for a check up. His knee being still swollen, the dr. drained a good amount of blood out of it right then and there. He sent the blood down to be cultured and it came back positive for staph. He was immediately admitted to the hospital and surgery was done again. This time the knee was flushed out and wrapped up but not sutured. Two days later it was flushed out and then closed up. His knee is still swollen and painful. He cannot bend it much at all. The dr. mentioned he might have some nerve damage when they did the arthroscopy. I've been looking for some herbal remedies to help with his knee and have come across Tei Fu lotion. Does anyone have any experience with this personally. At this point he's willing to try anything. Ok, I'm long winded and I'll stop here. Peggy
Guest guest
I will look for what I have on it hope to send it to you. From what I remember I it is good to increase blood/oxygen flow to body/organs. There are other imbalances that needs to be address May I ask How old is your husband? Good luck Peggy <peggy357 wrote:Hi, I'm new and have a question. Has anyone ever heard of Tei Fu Oils and lotion? I've read testimonials but wonder if there is anyone with any personal experience. My husband has renal cell carcinoma and had his right kidney removed along with a tumor removed from his brain where the cancer spread. Also, he has a small amount in his lungs. On top of that during his rehab he twisted his knee and so has had two knee surgeries. To make a long story short his knee is still painful and swollen and is not getting any better. I don't like the pain medicine he's on, morphine and neurontin. The neutontin is supposed to be for nerve pain. I came across Tei Fu lotion, read some testimonials and had some hope it might help. Thanks in advance for anyone that has any information. Peggy
