Guest guest
Our voices were heard! Late Thursday night, the Senate repealed Section 771 of the Omnibus Appropriations Bill that allowed livestock producers to label their products " organic " even if the animals were given conventional rather than organic feed, as long as the farmers could prove there was a shortage of organic feed. Had this provision passed, it would have undone decades of hard work and jeopardized the integrity of the National Organic Program, which clearly states that any meat or poultry product labeled organic must be fed certified organic feed. With the repeal of this provision, you can still feel confident that when you buy something labeled “organic” that is exactly what you are getting. Thanks to everyone who called, emailed and wrote their Senators and Representatives! http://horizonorganic.com/moosalert.html The complete " Whole Body " Health line consists of the " AIM GARDEN TRIO " Ask About Health Professional Support Series: AIM Barleygreen " Wisdom of the Past, Food of the Future " http://www.geocities.com/mrsjoguest/AIM.html Tax Center - File online, calculators, forms, and more
