Speaking for myself. the huge mass of new information was

quite intimidating. Not just the sheer volume of it, but that many

people who seemed to be respected sources contradicted one another.

I focused in on just the areas which seemed to impinge on my

particular health issues, and used copy/paste to put information into

one place. Over time I become comfortable sorting out which " expert "

I believed in which areas, but ignored in what other area. As I

began to get a handle on my particular focus, I expanded my are of

information seeking. Although I feel I am myself just a newbie

(less than 2 years of intensive study), I probably know more than

most doctors about nutrition & wellness -- and that is a scary

thought!.

Hello Lynda,

It is very confusing at first. I would suggest

taking things one step at a time and if you feel

better adding or subtracting something from your diet

it is probably right for you. You have to do a lot of

reading and decide what is right for you, for instance

I feel so much better with a low carb diet but for

some people this would make them feel ill and there is

no way I am going to drink cabbage juice, yuk, but

some people swear by it. There is a lot of

contradiction but if you stick to natural, unprocessed

, unhydrogenated and if you can organic produce your

halfway there. The other half you have to work at, but

its worth the confusion and time it takes to sort

things through.

Best wishes

Chris U.K.
